I took part in an exhibition with Great Barr Photographic Society which had the theme of Sandwell People and Places.
Among some of the other images I submitted, I took the camera to the actual sand well that Sandwell takes its name from and asked passers by to pose on it. I suppose that's a bit of a literal interpretation, people actually being on the sand well but hey, I thought it would be fun. The following few images are the result.

In addition to some of the good people of Sandwell posing for pictures on the sand well, I grabbed the odd shot of people passing through. Here's a couple.
I thought that I should really make a creative effort if it's an exhibition. So a couple of local Sandwellians offered to help me out following a shout out on social media. Here's the two models and the resulting image.
In addition to going out to the sand well of Sandwell, a couple of local models, Chloe the boxer and Cally helped me create a couple of submissions for the exhibition.
And finally, I asked the Mayor of Sandwell and a Sandwell MP if they'd like to take part. And being good sports, both did. Our Mayor allowed me to photograph him at the Mayoral House and I met Tom Watson at West Bromwich Town Hall.
